Today’s all about Twitter and how to use Twitter DMs to grow your newsletter.

It’s a very simple trick, that I learned from Yong-Soo Chung when I started to follow him on Twitter I got an automated DM.

The DM included:

Pointers on why you needed to subscribe
A link to his newsie

It’s so simple and it makes sense too. He is not the only Twitter creator using this trick, I got another one from another Twitter user who promoted her newsletter when I liked a tweet that mentioned her.

So I have been doing this now since I started my own newsletter. I have manually been sending DMs to people when they follow me. And most cases they don’t subscribe but it’s still a great trick to get people to subscribe since they did follow you on Twitter so they are interested in what you have to say.
