☀️ Good Morning Newsies,

Does today’s subject line look familiar to another newsletter?

That’s because this week’s email is inspired by Justin Welsh’s The Saturday Solopreneurs email from last weekend.

It got me thinking about how you and I can outlast every newsletter creator.

Remember I mentioned in issue 21 that if you publish 21 email newsletters you are in the top 5% of all newsletters?

But how can you outlast other newsletters?

Here are 5 ways:

  1. Engage with Subscribers: Respond to reader comments and feedback. Build a sense of community and engagement around your newsletter.

  2. Stay Persistent: Building a successful newsletter is a long-term endeavor. Be patient, stay persistent, and keep learning from your experiences.

  3. Seek Feedback: Regularly ask for feedback from subscribers to understand their needs and preferences. Use this feedback to improve your newsletter.

  4. Quality over Quantity: Having a smaller, highly engaged audience is better than a large, disengaged one. Focus on building a loyal subscriber base.

  5. Learn from Successful Newsletters: Study successful newsletters in your niche or related areas. Analyze what they do well and see how you can apply similar strategies to your newsletter.

Doing just one of these 5 suggestions, you are on your way to outlasting other newsletters in your industry.
