what made me start a newsletter
Total reading time: 2 minutes
Morning Newsies,
Storytime!
Everybody has a different reason for starting a newsletter. But my reason is to share topics about what I am currently interested in and to also teach.
I never wanted to become a traditional teacher and teach in front of students. But I have always had something in me where I enjoy teaching online to people and sharing what I have learned with one person who is also interested in the same topic.
But also there is a selfish reason and that is MONEY!
While studying and learning everything I can about email marketing I went into the newsletter rabbit hole and learned how much money one can make with just one newsie (newsletter).
You hear stories from:
Morning Brew sold for $75m
The Peak sold for $5m
Milkroad sold for $$$
and I could go on and on.
**FYI I donβt want to sell my newsletter I want to build an empire around it.
Because we all know that having an email list is powerful and can do wonders when done right.
