I recently finished working a client’s beehiiv newsletter. And this was the first time I tried this setup for a newsletter.
He wanted to send to 2 different types of subscribers at the start. See my Miro example below.
How did I set up this ‘choose your own adventure’ setup?
The Welcome email: Inside the welcome email I added a poll. Asking the subscriber to click option A or option B.
If they clicked any of the options I had an automation setup to push them to the option A automation or option B automation.
So now subscribers will be getting emails for the next 3 days for something they want to know more about.
And the client can send emails anytime to those 2 type of subscribers with a segmentation.
The best part it’s simple and did not need to create a Zap or pay for another software to do this.
It’s a win win for both parties.
