Deep Dive

I recently finished working a client’s beehiiv newsletter. And this was the first time I tried this setup for a newsletter.

He wanted to send to 2 different types of subscribers at the start. See my Miro example below.

How did I set up this ‘choose your own adventure’ setup?

  1. The Welcome email: Inside the welcome email I added a poll. Asking the subscriber to click option A or option B.

  2. If they clicked any of the options I had an automation setup to push them to the option A automation or option B automation.

So now subscribers will be getting emails for the next 3 days for something they want to know more about.

And the client can send emails anytime to those 2 type of subscribers with a segmentation.

The best part it’s simple and did not need to create a Zap or pay for another software to do this.

It’s a win win for both parties.
