Deep Dive

How to build your newsie in public

Building my newsletter in public has been one of the best decisions I have made when I started my newsletter.

So how do you build in public?

It’s actually pretty simple.

You just need to share behind the scenes of what your building. In this case a newsletter and X will be the platform of choice.

On X, I share the following…

  • Mistakes to building the newsletter.

  • Screenshots of my subscriber growth

  • The ups when the newsletter is growing.

  • Screenshots of how I did a certain thing, in my newsletter.

  • Sometimes screenshots of the money I make from Beehiiv

  • The downs of when I need to clean my email list and say bye to a few inactive subs

Example of tweet

These are just a few ways I am building in public. This will help people just starting out who might be where you were just a few weeks ago.

You can’t imagine how much DMs I get from people who want to know how I did something and I am always happy to show them.

🚨 I currently want to offer what I have learned the past few days from taking FB ads course to help you grow your newsletter with FB ads for free.

I did not even create a landing page for this

Disclaimer, I have never ran Meta ads but would love to help any way possible to gain the experience.

I can help with…

  • Create the ad(s)

Reply to this email if you want to work together.

For the next few days I will be sharing FB ads I create from some of my fav newsletters on X. Follow along
