how these 5 youtubers use email to get more views
steal their trick

Good Morning Amigos,
These YouTubers use boring email to grow their Youtube Channel.
I bet you never knew you can get more views and grow your channel using boring email. But you can and is probably more effective than sharing it on Instagram or Facebook. No more fighting the algorithm to get your video viewed.
Here are 5 Youtubers who use email to grow their channel and how they do it. And that I subscribe to on Youtube and to their newsletter.
Alex Cattoni
Ali Abdaal
Noah Kagan
Adam Erhart
Sean Anthony
Alex Cattoni - Makes videos about marketing. She usually bases her email around her video which makes sense. She would ask a question, that someone who is looking to hire would have. Then she would hit you with her first CTA (call to action).
Secondly, she does not forget the P.S. section, like many email markers they know that section can also help produce leads (this case views). And reminds you that she did not always have a team, but now she does and she can help you as well when you click the link. *Also don’t forget to add a link to the thumbnail.
Ali Abdaal - His newsletter usually comes out on Sundays. And his tactic is very easy when it comes to getting more views on his videos. He will just link the video in a section of his newsletters called “videos” and have a short description of the video with the link.
This help drives up more views to make sure his email subscribers know about his latest videos from the past week.
Noah Kagan - Keeps it simple, in his newsletter, he just shares 3 things and usually when he uploads new Youtube videos adds it as one of his 3 things.
Adam Erhart - Just like Alex, he will tell a story in a whole email around his latest videos, he asks you questions to make you feel curious and you want to know the answer. And his answer is always in a form of a Youtube video.
Sean Anthony - Does it a bit different, I like to think he just does it quick and dirty when he promotes his videos. He will create a catchy subject line and a quick story and tell you to watch his video for the answer.
Stealing these ideas for your own channel is one of the best things to do whenever you upload a new video. Unlike Youtube or other social platforms, you don’t know if those platforms will promote your latest video. If you, are not MrBeast. You are at the mercy of the platforms and their algorithms.
With email, you know that when you send out the email with the Youtube link will land in the inbox and the subscriber will know a new video has been uploaded.
✉️ Email of the Week
Gymshark does email right every time. And you should copy what they do, whenever a customer buys a product. A post-purchase email should go out a week after the buy.
This will not only make the customer excited to get an email from you, but this will help your engagement with email providers like Gmail. Will see this and say a lot of people are replying back, we need to make sure this email lands in the inbox every time.
Wish me luck, in running my first marathon.
That’s all for now
See you next week,
Your Amigo - Daniel
