A landing page for your newsletter is important, it’s what a new potential subscriber sees first to decide if they will sub.
Here are 5 things you should focus on first.
1/ Headline:
Having a headline is one of the first things the potential subscriber will see.
One important to note in the headline is to add a benefit or a reason why the person should subscribe to the newsletter.
An example is my headline, where my benefit is you the reader will gain insights, strategies, and resources to help grow your newsletter.
2/ One CTA:
Having one CTA on your landing page will help make sure the person subscribes to your newsletter. You don’t want to give too many options to the person that they won’t subscribe to your newsletter.
3/ Email Capture:
This is a fun way to show the newsletter's tone and customize the email capture, depending on your ESP's capabilities. Making it fun for the subscriber to give you that email.
4/ Social Proof:
Having social proof makes it easier for people to subscribe to your newsletter. When they see that others are learning and writing reviews, it creates a sense of community.
If you haven't already, you can leave a testimonial for this newsletter and have it featured on my landing page like other creators. 😆
5/ Hero Photo:
Smart Nonsense Landing page
The hero photo can be a great way to show a sneak peek of the newsletter, or like the photo above from Smart Nonsense. You can show your personality and the vibe of the newsletter.
Doing these 5 easy actionable steps is a great way to increase the subscriber rate on your landing page.
