Let’s start

Imagine this, you work hard day and night on your email campaign for the week and you get no response from your subscribers. There is a high chance that your email landed in the spam folder instead of the inbox. All that hard work for nothing.
That is why in this week’s newsletter I want to share 5 tips you can start doing right now to avoid the spam folder.
1) GlockApps: Check if your emails are going to the spam folder, by using this free tool GlockApps. This free tool will help you give stats on your email deliverability so you can see what you can improve on.
2) Clean the List: Every 6 months go and clean your list. Remove subscribers who have not opened an email in the past 3 months. This will help improve your email since you want to be sending it to people who want to open your emails.
3) Avoid Spammy Words: Gmail and other email providers are getting better and better at guessing which email is spam and needs to head to the spam folder. Linked are words to avoid.
4) Ask your subscribers: To check if your email landed in the spam folder by showing them a GIF of what to do next so they don’t miss any future emails.
5) Be compliant: This means to make sure you are following the best practice in email marketing. Don’t ruin email marketing for others :)
That’s all for now, I want to know by replying to this email what’s your biggest email issue right now.
See you next week!

Blue Checkmark for email: Google is making some big changes to email. And I think this is for the better they are adding a blue checkmark to email. This will help customers make sure they are getting emails from the legit business.
